Wedding Ceremony Tale by Niscka (RiAli)
The Wedding ties and the celebrations happened in the Nawabo ka Shahar, Lucknow! Our lovely Richa Chaddha and Ali Fazal tied the knot on 4th October 2022 in the presence of their family and close friends. The pictures of their Royal Wedding have gone viral since then.
The occasion was full of Royal Awadhi Style. The garlands and the venue were decided and decorated keeping in mind the same. The Awadhi Culture was complemented by the decor with golden custom-made drapes and chandelier candle holders.
The couple landed in Lucknow where all the affairs were hosted by Ali’s family. The Wedding evening shows began with a Qawwali performance by the Sabri Brothers of Rajasthan. The delicious food was prepared by Lebua, a heritage family hotel, in central Lucknow. They also had special dishes prepared by Mahmoodabadi (traditional catering family unit) with the most amazing cuisine peculiar to the region.
The couple opted for ivory and beige color wardrobes designed by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla. Both compliment each other with the groom in panelled gold and beige sherwani and the bride in an ivory traditional attire. Chaddha adorned classic pieces of jewellery crafted by a 175 year old jewellery family from Bikaner, a source revealed. The bridal jewellery was custom made just for her! The family named Khajanchi are known for their statement heirloom jewellery pieces and they designed beautiful ones for her as we see in pictures.
The designer jewellery included Kundan and Pearl embellished Passa which looked no less than heavenly regal! She wore Haar made of Uncut Polki Kundan Diamonds with Chandbali Earrings and matching Kada and Bangles. Her nath looked endearing and completed her bridal look. Overall the cyan colored Polki Kundan Jewellery made her look majestic! Ali Fazal dropped a breathtaking picture with Richa Chaddha recreating his grandfather and mother's old photo! Have a look:
Richa Chadda looked graceful as ever in her cocktail party outfit hosted in Delhi. She paired her golden saree with a glorious necklace set, made with Pearls, Uncut Diamonds and Diamonds. Her deep neck plunge blouse gave total space for the necklace to be presented with the utmost beauty and grace. The colours with the fine mesh jewellery body made it look glamorous with her outfit! The elongated earrings with the Necklace are a necessity for a bride-to-be outfit. The Golden Kada Bangles completed her look!
Her Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony had very different decor. They opted for elements related to nature like jute, wood and florals. The couple was showered with flowers, as seen in the pictures. An all time alluring theme decided by the nature enthusiasts B-Town couple!
Her Mehendi/Sangeet outfit the duo chose dreamy pastel colored ensembles. She donned an off-shoulder blouse made of a fish body pattern with a flowy lehenga featuring multicolored embroidery with an organza powder blue dupatta. She kept her make-up minimal with pastel pink lipstick. She wore amazing jewellery with the outfit. A fancy Choker Necklace made of mint pastel stones and colorful beads.
The multicoloured Dangling Earrings completed the look. The pastel mint stone in the centre of her choker matched her attire magnificently! She wore a striking Stone Embellished Ring on her middle finger. The pastel pink bangles on her one hand are single pieces of Kada Bangles that uplifted her style quotient and completed her look. A very different choice was made by Chaddha to set a flair from the usuals green and yellow color of pre-wedding ceremonies.
In the end, the wedding went very well! The couple landed in Bombay and did a full bollywood reception. We congratulate them both on their lovely journey ahead!
